NHS South Yorkshire Chair Pearse Butler has decided to step down from his role at the end of March 2026 when his current term comes to an end.
Pearse joined the ICB in 2021 as Chair of the ICS and Chair Designate of the future NHS South Yorkshire as it became an ICB. Pearse will also step down from his role as Vice Chair of the Integrated Care Partnership.
We will be working with NHS England over the coming months on interim arrangements and the appointment of a substantive Chair.
