Looking after your health and wellbeing

The British Deaf Association (BDA) have put together a range of health-related BSL information videos to help BSL users and Deaf people gain knowledge and understanding of health and wellbeing information. Their website covers lots of health conditions, including Dementia, Cancer, Stroke, Migraine, Men’s Health, Depression and many more. Take a look at their website.

Sheffield Teaching Hospitals

Sheffield Teaching Hospitals provide their Friends and Family Test survey with a BSL Language option. This can be accessed here: FFT and Local surveys - Landing Page. Once you choose the survey you wish to complete, two boxes appear; one to choose language, which is where you can pick BSL, and one to choose the department you wish to give feedback on (see image below). Once you have chosen, you will be taken to the survey.
