We have a once in a generation opportunity to improve healthcare for people in Sheffield. £37m in government funding is available to transform general practice across the city. Most of this money is being used to build new health centres in some of the areas that need them most, bringing together GP and other services all under one roof.
PCS City and PCS Mulberry proposed to relocate to a new site at the former Royal Bank of Scotland building on Church Street. The building would be renovated and remodelled to better meet the needs of the practices.
The consultation ran from 31 July to 29 October 2023.

Thinking about changes to non-surgical cancer outpatient appointments
We want to hear from:
- Cancer patients and their carers so we can understand how changing where cancer patients go for planning and review appointments with a cancer specialist affects them.
- More of our local residents, to understand what they think is important for patients when they attend these appointments, and what we should be taking into account as we think about the challenges.
The involvement activity will take place from 6 March to 13 April.

Proposal to relocate nine GP practices to new health centres in Sheffield
Public consultation 1 August 2022 to 9 October 2022
A public consultation over plans to invest millions in building new GP health centres launches 1 August 2022.
Sheffield has been given £37m to improve primary care buildings in the city.
Most of this money could be used to build new health centres in areas that need them most, bringing together GP and other services all under one roof.
As part of this four new health centres could be built in 2023. If GPs move, their current surgeries will close, so we want to hear from patients and communities about what they think of these plans.
