Following a successful Doncaster Diabetes Event in 2025, feedback from patients highlighted the need for a booklet that brings useful information together in one place. This booklet has been developed with input from Doncaster Diabetes Services, Primary Care, Public Health, and patients.

Although the information has been created with Doncaster patients in mind, much of the information will be relevant and beneficial to people with Type 2 diabetes across South Yorkshire. Some of the content may also be useful for people with Type 1 diabetes.
