Sheffield Children’s Hospital Charity patron, Esme Morgan, visited Sheffield Children’s Hospital to spread some Christmas cheer and chat about all things football with patients, families and staff.

Esme visited four wards across the hospital, meeting patients and their parents at their bedsides, and even met a few budding football stars in the making!

From sharing Lego creations to showing Esme their current favourite games, patients were delighted to be visited by our Lioness, who even kindly gave them signed England shirts too.

Then, on Christmas Eve, Chelsea FC and England Lioness icon, Lucy Bronze, visited Sheffield Children’s Hospital, kindly bringing gifts for patients, visiting numerous wards across the hospital this Christmas Eve.

From gifting goodies and football shirts to playing with Loki and his teddy bears, Lucy truly made this Christmas Eve extra special.
