NHS South Yorkshire is delighted to share that our People Experience Team have been shortlisted for a national award.
The team have been shortlisted for an Employee Benefits Awards 2024, in the category ‘Best Healthcare and Wellbeing Benefits – large employer’.
The annual Employee Benefits Awards, which is in its 22nd year, acknowledges hard work carried out during 2023 by employers from a range of industries, recognising excellence in the reward, benefits and HR community, and celebrate organisations, teams and individuals that have made a significant impact through their reward and benefits strategies.
The NHS South Yorkshire People Experience Team are responsible for leading programmes of work that supports the mental health, wellbeing, retention and equality, diversity and inclusion of staff working in health and care across South Yorkshire. They have been shortlisted for their achievements, including the development and implementation of our ‘Working together for Workforce Health and Wellbeing 3 year Roadmap 2024-27’ which will be instrumental in ensuring we all work together for the benefit of our colleagues and patients.
The team were nominated for the award by our employee health and wellbeing partners, Vivup.
In addition to the team’s successful shortlist, Brigitte Kaviani, Programme Director of People Experience has been put forward for the category ‘Best Benefits Professional of the Year’.

Brigitte Kaviani added “I am very proud of my team for being recognised in this way, it is testament to the hard work they all show every day and our team’s dedication to supporting the mental health and wellbeing of our colleagues across South Yorkshire.”
This year’s award ceremony will be held at the Honourable Artillery Company (HAC), London on Friday 14 June. The event will give shortlisted employers, entrants and HR professionals the chance to network and celebrate best practice and innovation.
