The shortlist has been announced for the HSJ Awards 2025 and South Yorkshire healthcare providers are flying the flag for the region, having been shortlisted across five categories, including children and young people’s care, Improving Mental Health Crisis Care and Trust of the Year.

There is some pioneering work taking place across South Yorkshire and it’s great to have partner organisations and teams from our region recognised on this prestigious shortlist.

There are twenty-seven award categories in 2025 covering clinical leadership, working in partnership and early intervention for children and young people.

The Rotherham Foundation Trust - Diabetes Technology: Onboarding and Beyond.
HSJ Partnership of the Year Award
Lilly UK & Dementias Platform UK and The Trials Delivery Framework, in collaboration with Greater Manchester MHFT, Oxford Health FT, University Hospitals Sussex FT and Sheffield Teaching Hospital FT - Improving accurate, early diagnosis of Alzheimer’s Disease using cerebral spinal fluid testing.
Mental Health Innovation of the Year Award
Sheffield Health and Social Care Foundation Trust - Improving Mental Health Crisis Care: Sheffield’s Innovative Partnership for Patient Safety.
Trust of the Year Award
Sheffield Children's Foundation Trust - 150 Years of Caring for Children: Creating a healthier future for children and young people, today and for generations to come.
