The shortlist has been announced for the prestigious 2026 HSJ Awards with NHS South Yorkshire Integrated Care Board (ICB) being shortlisted for an award, along with three other South Yorkshire healthcare providers.

There are 26 award categories in 2026 covering innovation, partnership work, AI and mental health amongst others. The nominees from South Yorkshire are: 

  • HSJ Partnership of the Year: Sewell Advisory and NHS South Yorkshire ICB - South Yorkshire Primary Care Capital Programme
  • Workforce Initiative of the Year: South Yorkshire Primary Care Workforce and Training Hub - Transforming The Primary Care Workforce
  • Trust of the Year: Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber FT - Nurturing the power in our communities
  • Using AI to Enhance Care Quality and Efficiency Award:  South West Yorkshire Partnership FT - Kirklees and Barnsley NHS Talking Therapies
