South Yorkshire smokers are being encouraged to leave tobacco in 2023 and to make this new year the year they give up the habit for good.

As well as improving mental and physical health and wellbeing, quitting smoking can reduce the risk of longer-term illness and save money.

By making a New Year’s resolution to quit, an average smoker will not only find their health improved by the end of January, but they will have saved around £250.

It's much easier to quit when you get the right support and there are lots of options to choose from.
