The shortlist has been announced for the 2025 HSJ Digital Awards and some of South Yorkshire’s healthcare providers have been shortlisted across four categories.

The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust’s GP Connect in Meditech: Streamlining Medication and Allergy Data Project has been shortlisted in two categories including the Digital Clinical Safety Award and the Improving Medicines Management and Pharmacy Through Digital Award.

Sheffield Children's Hospital NHS Foundation Trust  has been shortlisted for the Reducing Health Inequalities through Digital Award for their Roma Video Reminder Project.

Also, Liz Leggott  from the South Yorkshire Primary Care Workforce and Training Hub has been shortlisted for Digital Innovator of the Year.

Dr Kieran Baker, Chief Digital and Information Officer, at NHS South Yorkshire, said: “We are proud to see our South Yorkshire colleagues shortlisted in these prestigious awards. There is some innovative work taking place across South Yorkshire so it’s great that these teams are recognised. More importantly, these fantastic innovations will ultimately improve the health and care we provide to our patients."

The HSJ Digital awards celebrate the power of digital products, projects and services to transform care delivery and improve patient outcomes. The awards are open to any organisation working across the health and care sector and aim to recognise the hard work completed across the UK.
