VCSE organisations across South Yorkshire led co-design work in 2022 to develop the VCSE Alliance. We heard that VCSE organisations want a non-hierarchical structure that is fluid and offers the opportunity to engage in work that matters to them.
The Alliance enables VCSE organisations to participate in the Integrated Care System (ICS) in a variety of ways including networking, information exchange, co-design opportunities on shared priorities and participation in South Yorkshire level ICS meetings.
We are an Alliance that offers:
- Information
- Events and webinars
- Opportunities to participate in strategic work across South Yorkshire
- Opportunities to share learning and spotlight some of the good collaboration taking place.
The VCSE Alliance is open to all VCSE organisations in South Yorkshire and health and care colleagues who:
- Support the vision, values, principles and commitments set out in the ICS and VCSE Memorandum of Understanding
- Are committed to reducing health inequalities
Our Alliance is guided by a steering group that brings together VCSE and ICB leaders. The steering group meets monthly.
