The website, developed by the South Yorkshire Children’s and Young People’s Alliance, has a host of information and resources to support the health of pregnant women, babies, children and young people. It provides information about a wide variety of services across South Yorkshire.
Nicola Ennis, South Yorkshire Children and Young People’s Alliance Programme Director, said: “The Healthier Together website has been developed to offer an easy to use, on line space for parents and carers so they can quickly find relevant health information about their child who may have picked up common viruses or find out what to do next if their child suffers a minor injury, including signposting to the services available in South Yorkshire.”
As well as information for parents and carers, the website also has a dedicated section for young people to access independently that includes information and advice about mental health, neurodivergence, sexual health, long term conditions, plus much more.
All the content on the website has been developed by NHS doctors, midwives and health professionals from across South Yorkshire and nationally.
