On 25 September 2025, Sheffield Health and Social Care will change their name to Sheffield Health Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust.
They are changing their name to reflect their growing role as a university hospital trust and their commitment to improvement.
While they are changing their name, lots of things remain absolutely the same – most importantly the vast range of services they provide across our communities.
If you are one of their service users your care will remain the same, as will the people you contact in relation to your care and treatment.
Their addresses, phone numbers, email addresses and all contact details will remain the same – meaning you will continue to be able to contact staff relevant to your care, as normal.
Some things will change, but these will not impact the level of service or package of care you receive. Things you will see changing include:
• They will use their name when talking to you
• They'll use their new name when answering the phone or on voicemail
• Their letters will have their new name and logo on them
• The website will look different and there will be a new web address
• They'll update their name on social media accounts
In time, other things will change such as the email addresses, name badges, and signage on buildings, however none of these things will happen immediately. They will be working through these changes in a phased manner, ensuring they maintain their commitment to sustainability by using up resources, as opposed to buying new items straight away.
